Kitson Hutchings welcomes four new recruits to its regional offices across the county
Personal injury solicitor, Dawn Healy, has joined the Litigation team in Plymouth, Nick Pope joins the Commercial Litigation division in Exeter, and the Commercial Property team in Exeter welcomes Matthew Scott-Tucker. Meanwhile, Colin Brooking has taken on the new role of Practice Manager and is based at the firm's Newton Abbot office.

"We're delighted to start 2010 with the appointment of four new recruits, continuing our growth throughout the region. Dawn, Nick and Matthew have all demonstrated high levels of expertise in their individual specialisms. This will enhance further the level of service our customers receive from the respective Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property teams they have joined.
Speaking of the firm's decision to appoint its first Practice Manager, Andrew explained:
"Colin Brooking joins us with extensive commercial experience, largely spent at HSBC Plc as a Senior Commercial Manager supporting the growth of owner managed businesses throughout the region.
Colin's appointment coincides with the imminent opening of our new purpose-built flagship office at the Edginswell Business Park later this Spring, which will provide us with the most up-to-date facilities in which to house our expanding practice."
Joining the Personal Injury team, Dawn Healy has worked with a number of firms in the West Country and has extensive litigation experience. Qualifying in 1993, Dawn has worked across the full range of Personal Injury and medical negligence claims on behalf of claimants, insurers and health authorities. She has also dealt with a large number of high value claims, including brain injury and is a Personal Injury Panel member and Higher Courts Advocate. Based at Kitson Hutchings' Plymouth office, Solicitor Dawn has joined the Litigation team headed by Joint Managing Partner, James Cross.
Nick Pope has joined the firm as an Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation department. Having worked for a leading regional practice, specialising in commercial and construction disputes, Nick joins the firm's Exeter office where he will work alongside Andrew Perkins. Nick is an immensely experienced lawyer having been the Head of the Commercial Litigation team of Perth law firm Dwyer Durak where he conducted some of Australia's largest construction disputes.
Matthew Scott-Tucker starts with Kitson Hutchings as an Associate Solicitor. Matthew has spent the past four years working for another leading Exeter commercial law firm quickly clocking up a wealth of experience in the commercial property sector. He has worked on a variety of different areas including: landlord, tenant and estate management (small, regional developers and investors); complex development transactions, options, conditional contracts and site infrastructure agreements.
